Madagascar 3 Prescreening! Thanks Crowdtap!

I love the Madagascar Movie franchise. I love King Julian. I love Marty. I couldn't wait to see Madagascar 3 in 3D when it premired on June 8, 2012. Then I struck gold! I was one of few lucky Crowdtap Members selected to go to Burbank to see the fildm before it was released. In 3D!! The only catch, I could only bring one of my four children. I picked the one doing the best in school and bieng the most helpful at home. Bella wins! I didn't tell her where we were going but she tried to guess the entire way to Burbank. When we arrived at the theater, she started to put it together! She was so excited!

As a Crowdtap VIP I got to sail passed the line and into the theater. We were handed our 3D glasses in two different sizes and stopped at the concession stand for some popcorn. Inside a local radio station got the audience hyped and ready. Kids participated in a dance competition and free CDs and t-shirts were handed out. Then the lights dimmed. Then the lights came back on. Groans from the crowd. Why? Suddenly, it all made sense. A flash mob of approximately 90 people lept from their seats. With their King Julian hats on, they took over the front of the theater and danced the electric slide to "I Like to Move It!" It was so exciting and my daughter could barely believe what she was seeing. When they were finished with their routine, the lights dimmed once again and the movie began....

It was phenomenal! The 3D effects were awesome and the storyline compelling. We were entertained by the regular cast members and loved the addition of Captain DuBois and Stefon.

We highly recommend the film and can't wait for the rest of the family to see it!
